My Commitment to Community

Madras is a down to earth town. No fancy airs here. It was founded by ranchers and farmers and retains these roots. It's a straight forward, hard working, welcoming community.

I appreciate this a lot and aim to be likewise. It's my hope that as a tenant here you'll find the community welcoming and one you'll want to join and contribute to.

At least not yet, Madras isn't glitzy, expensive and exclusive. It offers what Central Oregon has offered forever: lakes, rivers, gorges, hiking, swimming, boating, rafting, hunting, climbing, etc.

To this, Madras has added ample bike and walking paths, an aquatic center with a top tier mountain vista, The Air Show of the Cascades, The Erickson Aircraft Collection, Madras Speedway, a community built skate park, a trout pond for kid fishers, a no-charge spray park for hot kids in the summer, a history museum - I could go on. And I'll mention, too, your dollar goes farther in Madras. There's modest or no charge for what I've mentioned in this paragraph.

I hope you'll find Madras to be a good home, one you'll want to contribute to, and one you may well want to make your permanent home. To this end, I aim to be a good, responsible and responsive landlord to you.
